Address guidance moved to version 2.2. This change does not justify importing another community’s date or abandoning data improvement. Distinguish ready technical capability from activation of a deadline-dependent rule. At governance meetings, present effects on channels, middleware, data, tests, contracts, and windows. An earlier decision may need revision when its supporting source is superseded.

Operational readiness includes people and outcomes alongside running components. For instant service, do not automatically inherit legacy batch weekend windows. Documentation allows short, foreseeable maintenance with advance information, subject to applicable conditions. Define how shifts follow unknown states, late confirmations, reconciliation, and escalation. During recovery rehearsals, require a team to execute the runbook and demonstrate the business flow with synthetic data. Record limitations, owners, and action-closure criteria. If business accepts reduced scope or temporary support, make the decision explicit and demonstrate controls. A green health check establishes neither financial recovery nor RUN autonomy.
Example: after failover, twenty payments retain unknown status. The rehearsal keeps reconciliation and practical training actions open even if servers recovered within the planned time.
