AWS SysOps SOA-C02: historical operations path
Historical AWS SysOps SOA-C02 path: six lessons, 36 questions, and six cases on operations, recovery, automation, security, networking, and costs.
Objectives and progression
Independent historical path with six lessons, 36 questions, and six original cases. The six domains of SOA-C02 guide v2.3 organize diagnosis, continuity, deployment, policies, connectivity, and optimization. The exam ended September29,2025; successor CloudOps SOA-C03 has its own syllabus. Technical examples use AWS documentation inspected in October2026 with explicit version limits. The internal assessment reuses30 decisions in60 minutes and awards no certification. Cases help APS, L3 support, and project managers request evidence, manage changes, and validate operational autonomy.
Audience: Cloud administrators, APS and L3 support teams, and AWS infrastructure project managers.
Prerequisites: AWS, Linux, TCP/IP, and production operations fundamentals. Exercises are fictional and require no AWS account.
