ITIL 4 Foundation: service and production decisions
Prepare for ITIL 4 Foundation through seven lessons, support decisions, service practices, and fictional banking scenarios.
Objectives and progression
An introductory path with seven modules, 35 original questions, and five fictional APS cases. It covers value, principles, four dimensions, the value system and chain, practices, and improvement. All seven syllabus objectives are mapped; practice distribution does not reproduce exam weighting. The final assessment reuses 26 bank decisions to consolidate learning. This preparation specifically targets ITIL 4: PeopleCert already offers ITIL Version 5 and plans to retire ITIL 4 on 2027-12-31; confirm availability before booking. Syllabus v4.2.0 was consulted in a GogoTraining-hosted copy of a PeopleCert document; that provenance is identified in the sources.
Audience: Support professionals, technical managers, and learners starting ITIL 4 Foundation preparation.
Prerequisites: Basic familiarity with applications and IT services; no tools or production access required.
