Linux+: production administration and troubleshooting
Prepare for Linux+ through system administration, security, automation, and production troubleshooting scenarios.
Objectives and progression
Seven original lessons connect storage, resolution, recovery, services, identities, security, and automation to operational decisions. Includes 35 questions with per-option explanations, five fictional banking cases, and an internal 26-decision assessment. Mapped to the five XK0-006/V8 domains consulted at CompTIA. RHEL 10 examples are identified, and commands depend on installed versions and distribution. This is introductory preparation without exhaustive coverage, an executable lab, or reproduction of the exam’s performance-based items.
Audience: Linux administrators, APS teams, and professionals preparing for CompTIA Linux+.
Prerequisites: Familiarity with terminals, files, processes, and basic networking; separate practice in a Linux lab.

What you will explore
0 / 7System and persistent storage
Relate device identity, volume, and filesystem before a change.
Name resolution and recovery
Distinguish resolution sources, archive inspection, and recovery evidence.
Services, users, and scheduling
Separate activation configuration, current process, and identity permissions.
Security applied to operations
Correct the layer denying access and limit the scope of grants.
Repeatable automation and reliable outcomes
Make arguments, environment, failures, and desired state explicit.
Disk, CPU, and memory diagnosis
Read each indicator according to the resource it actually measures.
Limits, networking, and incident evidence
Connect local limits, endpoints, and chronology to reduce uncertainty.
