React: components, state and interface decisions
Learn React through components, state, forms, asynchronous data and delivery. Interpret code and scenarios through original single- and multiple-choice questions.
Modules and lessons

Components, props and pure rendering
Build web components that receive data and describe an interface without changing inputs. Interpret JSX, composition and the difference between render and commit.
60 minEvents, state snapshots and update queues
Interpret callbacks, captured values and composition of state updates. Distinguish event propagation, default behavior and a delayed action’s contract.
60 minState structure and component identity
Choose essential state, update objects without changing previous snapshots and define when a draft must be preserved or reset.
60 minForms, DOM contracts and accessibility
Define who controls each field, associate labels with inputs and diagnose editing, submission and lost focus without confusing React state with DOM identity.
60 minReducers, context and shared state
Centralize pure transitions in a reducer and distribute state through the appropriate subtree. Diagnose lost fields, incorrect providers and changing value identity.
60 minEffects, refs and external synchronization
Synchronize subscriptions with component lifecycle, declare dependencies and use refs without expecting automatic visual updates.
60 minAsync data, Suspense and error boundaries
Distinguish waiting, failure and obsolete results. Integrate Promise reads with Suspense and Error Boundaries and define acceptance of out-of-order responses.
60 minPerformance, transitions and rendering decisions
Choose optimizations while preserving behavior: memoization, pure calculation, update priority and deferred-value presentation. Distinguish measurement, caching and request ordering.
60 minTesting behavior and evidence boundaries
Choose queries and interactions that observe interface contracts. Interpret asynchronous tests, isolation and evidence limits without confusing a prepared response with real integration.
65 minDelivery, hydration and server boundaries
Distinguish client mounting from hydration, preserve initial output and interpret module boundaries in React Server Components. Bound transported data and raw HTML.
65 minObjectives and progression
Learn React through components, state, forms, asynchronous data and delivery. Interpret code and scenarios through original single- and multiple-choice questions.
Audience
Web developers and support teams needing to interpret React components, explain behavior and diagnose interface failures.
Prerequisites
JavaScript fundamentals: functions, objects, arrays, modules, Promises and code reading. Basic HTML and CSS. TypeScript is a related progression when used by the project. Assessments require no tool installation or code execution.
What you will learn
- Compose interfaces with explicit props, state and identity.
- Diagnose forms, context and resource synchronization.
- Separate loading, errors and optimization while preserving correctness.
- Interpret test evidence, hydration and server/client boundaries.
What is available
10 lessons · 100 regular questions · 20 cases
Internal final assessment: 40 exercises in 90 minutes. Full mock exams are not yet available.
Assessments and mock exams reuse path exercises. They do not award certifications or guarantee passing an external exam.
Scope, review and limitations
Ten lessons with 100 regular questions and 20 original cases. Learn interface composition, identity and state preservation, resource synchronization and interpretation of loading, errors, tests and hydration. The baseline is React 19.3.0 for the web with JSX. All assessments use single or multiple choice with excerpts and scenarios, without code execution. The final assessment reuses 40 course items in 90 minutes. JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals belong to separate paths; no complete framework implementation or React Native coverage is implied.
Internal 40-question assessment in 90 minutes, reusing course items, with single or multiple choice and no code execution. It is not an official exam and awards no external certification.
Independent education and assessment with original questions and scenarios. No affiliation, authorization, sponsorship or endorsement by React Foundation, and no official certification award. Technology names identify the course subjects; all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
