Competency assessments for companies

Six assessments without lessons: problem solving, communication, logical and numerical reasoning, verbal interpretation and situational judgement.

Choose a competency

The six banks contain 24 original questions each. Each bank organizes questions into four areas to make the selected scope visible. Use the full bank or choose questions for a defined need; results reflect only that selection.

Available in English.

Problem solving

Decisions in work situations with incomplete data, competing causes, resource limits and explicit success criteria.

  • Define the problem and select evidence
  • Distinguish causes and test hypotheses
  • Decide under constraints and uncertainty
  • Evaluate results and adapt the solution

Workplace communication

Choose messages and responses that clarify requests, distinguish facts from forecasts and support decisions, handovers and feedback.

  • Clarity and audience
  • Listening and clarification
  • Coordination and accountability
  • Feedback and disagreement

Logical reasoning

Deduce conclusions, order actions, apply rules and distinguish sufficient information from assumptions in situations with explicit conditions.

  • Deduction and conditions
  • Order and dependencies
  • Applying rules
  • Information sufficiency

Numerical reasoning

Interpret quantities, proportions, tables, capacity limits and uncertainty in work situations with explicit units and assumptions.

  • Proportions and units
  • Reading and combining data
  • Capacity and resources
  • Estimates and bounds

Verbal interpretation

Read original professional passages, locate information, draw bounded inferences, preserve conditions and select faithful summaries.

  • Explicit information
  • Supported inference
  • Scope and qualifications
  • Synthesis and coherence

Situational judgement

Choose actions in workplace situations with priorities, responsibilities, collaboration and decision boundaries defined in the question.

  • Priorities and commitments
  • Accountability and information
  • Collaboration and disagreement
  • Escalation and follow-through

How to interpret results

The score indicates correct answers to the questions presented. Each exact answer earns one point; a multiple-response item requires the complete set with no additional options. Blank answers earn zero. There is no shared pass mark across the six assessments.

Results by area help prepare interview questions or a development conversation. Compare only assessments with comparable content and conditions, including language and allotted time. A partial form does not establish coverage of the whole bank.

These assessments have editorial review but no psychometric validation or population norms. They do not provide IQ scores, percentiles, personality diagnoses or validated predictions of job performance. Selecting an answer does not demonstrate observed workplace behavior.

Use and participant information

The company selects areas and questions, sets the time and sends the invitation. Participants answer without completing lessons. Assessments remain in the company workspace; questions and individual results are not part of these public pages.

Before starting, participants see instructions, timing and information about who receives their answers and results. The company can grant additional time. Use results as one element of a broader assessment with human judgment, rather than an automatic hiring decision.
