AWS Solutions Architect Professional: complex decisions
SAP-C02 preparation covering multi-account architecture, hybrid networking, resilience, improvement, and migrations. Original lessons and scenarios.
Objectives and progression
Eight lessons, 50 questions, and eight fictional cases connect AWS architecture with production, cost, and migration decisions. Question allocation across the four SAP-C02 domains: 13/15/12/10. The internal assessment contains 32 decisions in 60 minutes. A future mock blueprint is prepared, but the full mock is not yet available. This initial pass does not claim exhaustive coverage of official tasks. This path prepares SAP-C02, with announced last delivery on 2026-11-17. SAP-C03 registration opens on 2026-10-27; its first delivery date and new blueprint are not confirmed in this path. Confirm the version before scheduling.
Audience: Architects, cloud engineers, and technical managers responsible for complex solutions and production transition.
Prerequisites: Knowledge equivalent to AWS Solutions Architect Associate, networking, identity, and data operations. AWS recommends two or more years of relevant experience; this is not a prior-certification requirement.

What you will explore
0 / 8Organization, identity, and controls
Design account boundaries and check permissions, evidence, and ownership.
Hybrid networking, DNS, and segmentation
Connect routing, name resolution, and failure domains.
Resilience, state, and releases
Prepare service recovery and compatibility during changes.
Security, performance, and cost in design
Choose mechanisms according to data, load, and service constraints.
Operations, evidence, and remediation
Turn signals into decisions and bound the impact of automated actions.
Improvement, costs, and lifecycle
Assess commitments, performance tails, and remaining resources.
Discovery and migration waves
Connect technical strategy to dependencies, capacity, and business calendars.
Data, cutover, and transition to RUN
Define data, recovery, and operational-readiness gates.
