CKA: Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting
Prepare Kubernetes administration through command reading, maintenance decisions, and networking, storage, and troubleshooting scenarios.
Objectives and progression
Seven original modules cover context, kubeadm, maintenance, RBAC, Helm, Kustomize, workloads, services, storage, and troubleshooting. Includes 35 questions and five fictional production scenarios with feedback for each alternative and mapping to the five CKA domains. Technical scope is Kubernetes v1.35, the Linux Foundation’s stated version at consultation, using documentation for that version. The internal assessment reuses 26 decisions. The official exam is practical; this introductory knowledge path supplies no cluster, does not replace execution practice, and does not claim exhaustive coverage.
Audience: Cluster administrators, production engineers, and DevOps practitioners preparing for CKA.
Prerequisites: Linux, TCP/IP networking, containers, and YAML reading. Execution practice should use a separate authorized lab.

What you will explore
0 / 7Cluster, context, and maintenance
Prepare operations against the correct target and retain capacity during changes.
Access, tools, and extensions
Connect authorization and declarative configuration to the controller implementing intent.
Workloads, configuration, and scheduling
Relate the desired template to actual availability and capacity.
Services, policies, and names
Follow backend selection and the path to the application.
Volumes and data lifecycle
Distinguish requests, provisioning, access, and recovery.
Diagnose workloads with evidence
Interpret state, events, and logs before choosing mitigation.
Nodes and control plane
Investigate local components when the API or node stops responding.
