PeopleCertAvailable
PeopleCertDPI7 lessons
ITIL 4 DPI: 40 questions, 90 minutes, 70%, closed book. PeopleCert requires accredited training and a certification prerequisite; DR does not replace these. Weights follow inspected Japanese v1.3.1 syllabus, with current English detailed revision comparison pending. ITIL 4 currently available, planned retirement 2027-12-31; this is not Version 5 preparation.

Objectives and progression

Seven lessons, 40 regular questions, five fictional cases, and an internal assessment of 26 decisions in 45 minutes. Allocation across seven observed domains: 8/6/3/8/6/3/6 questions. Original examples of RUN capacity, delegation, controls, automation effort, communication, and value streams. No official questions reproduced or full exam coverage guaranteed. Domains and weights were observed in the Japanese syllabus identified as v1.3.1, linked by PeopleCert Japan, and compared with totals in the historical English syllabus from December 2019. The exact Japanese revision date and detailed comparison with May 2025 updates remain unconfirmed. Current exam format was confirmed with PeopleCert. This path prepares for ITIL 4; retirement is planned for 2027-12-31, subject to provider confirmation.

Audience: Technical managers, APS leads, service managers, and professionals coordinating operational improvement and transformation.

Prerequisites: ITIL Foundation and service-operations knowledge are recommended for this path. PeopleCert requires an ITIL v3 certification, ITIL 4 Foundation, or ITIL 4 Managing Professional, plus ATO training or ITIL Official eLearning. Confirm current provider conditions. DR does not replace accredited training or include an exam or eligibility.
