CSPO: discovery, backlog, and product value
Develop CSPO knowledge through user discovery, goals, backlog, experiments, and value decisions in operational contexts.
Objectives and progression
Seven lessons, 37 regular questions, and five original cases, with an internal assessment of 26 decisions in 50 minutes. CSPO certification currently requires no exam; DR tests are knowledge assessments and do not replace official training. January 2022 CSPO objectives, formatted February 2024. All 24 Scrum Foundations 2022 objectives were compared using the workbook linked by the official resource page on October 1, 2026; the separate PDF was not read in full.
Audience: Early-career Product Owners, business analysts, technical managers, and operational professionals involved in product decisions.
Prerequisites: No prerequisites for studying on DR. External certification requires completing the approved 16-hour Certified Scrum Trainer course and Scrum Alliance steps. DR is not that course, does not confer eligibility, and does not award CSPO.
