ECBA: needs, decisions, and value
Seven lessons, 40 questions, and seven cases covering BACCM, needs, requirements, stakeholders, change, solutions, and value. Independent ECBA preparation.
Objectives and progression
Independent ECBA preparation aligned with the nine domains of blueprint V1.1 for the English exam launched on 21 July 2025. Explore six BACCM concepts, an investigative and collaborative mindset, approach selection, change traceability, elicitation, and priorities. Learn to distinguish requirements quality from alignment with needs and value. Fictional closing, file, reporting, and handover cases connect business analysis with technical-manager and APS work. Includes 17 primary sources, option explanations, progress, and an internal 28-decision assessment in 60 minutes. This initial coverage selects concepts and techniques; it is not a full mock or a substitute for official study materials. Earlier translated exams follow a different version.
Audience: Early-career business analysis practitioners, technical managers, and APS teams clarifying needs and supporting change.
Prerequisites: No specific technical background required; familiarity with a work process and its participants helps. Confirm application conditions with IIBA.
