Test Analyst: analysis, design, and prevention
Eight lessons, 45 questions, and eight cases on risk, boundaries, combinations, states, rules, quality, and defect prevention. Independent CTAL-TA preparation.
Objectives and progression
Independent CTAL-TA v4.0 preparation with eight lessons and 53 original decisions on functional analysis and test design. Practice open and closed boundaries, combinations, transitions, CRUD, decision tables, metamorphic relations, and exploratory investigation. Fictional international-cutoff, authorization, cross-module consistency, and APS-handover cases connect techniques with operational consequences. Learn to report user-evaluation limitations and interpret defect metrics with observation dates. The internal assessment has 32 decisions in 60 minutes, reuses studied items, and covers five domains. The official exam has 45 questions, 78 points, and a 51-point pass in 120 minutes. This course neither reproduces that weighting nor awards certification.
Audience: Test analysts, quality professionals, business analysts, and APS teams involved in acceptance and regression.
Prerequisites: Testing and business-rule knowledge. CTFL is required for certification and earlier versions are accepted; confirm experience criteria and languages with the board or provider.
