ISO 20022: integration and operational fundamentals
Six lessons, 24 questions, and eight cases on ISO 20022 messages, validation, versions, mapping, and support. Independent professional assessment.
Objectives and progression
Independent professional pathway with six modules and 32 original decisions on semantics, documentation, message families, headers, validation, external codes, namespaces, party roles, amounts, translation, versions, and extensions. Fictional cases cover treasury discrepancies, statement redelivery, code caches, truncation, community contracts, and parsing regressions. The final assessment reuses 26 items in 60 minutes. Primary ISO 20022, W3C, Swift, and EPC sources were consulted October 1, 2026. Standard concepts and implementation-specific rules are distinguished. This is not certification, accredited training, or evidence of system conformance.
Audience: IT project managers, APS and L3 teams, integration analysts, and financial-services data professionals.
Prerequisites: Basic application-integration and structured-data knowledge. Examples require no banking-system access or real data. Suggested learning links.

- Preserve roles, amounts, and references through transformations.
- Manage concrete contracts without treating publication as automatic activation.
- Turn rules and hypotheses into evidence support can reproduce.
