CCBA: requirements, options, and outcomes
Seven lessons, 50 questions, and seven cases covering planning, elicitation, requirements, strategy, design, and solution evaluation. Independent CCBA preparation.
Objectives and progression
Independent CCBA preparation organized around the six knowledge areas and weights in the May 2026 IIBA handbook. Practice analysis planning, collaboration, traceability, change control, current and future states, models, verification, and validation. Compare options using mandatory conditions, operating cost, scores, and sensitivity. Fictional migration, file, reconciliation, and handover examples connect concepts to technical-project and APS work. Includes 13 primary references, option explanations, progress, and an internal 28-decision assessment in 60 minutes. This initial coverage is not a full mock of the official 130-question/180-minute exam or a substitute for official materials. The identified official CCBA exam language is English. The handbook date is not presented as a new exam launch.
Audience: Business analysts, technical managers, and APS professionals collaborating on requirements and changes across teams.
Prerequisites: Foundational business analysis knowledge and experience collaborating with stakeholders. IIBA application conditions are separate; this course does not claim eligible professional development hours.
