PMI-RMP: manage uncertainty from project to production
Prepare for PMI-RMP through risk applied to migrations, suppliers, contingency, and banking operations.
Objectives and progression
Eight lessons, 50 questions, and eight original cases explore the five PMI-RMP domains. The internal assessment combines 32 decisions in 50 minutes. Fictional banking and APS examples include cut-offs, suppliers, shared capacity, quantitative analysis, contingencies, and operational handover. Preparation uses the current public outline and primary guidance with documented limitations. This is a first pass; complete practice forms remain planned.
Audience: Project managers and professionals coordinating technical risk, suppliers, APS teams, and production decisions.
Prerequisites: Project experience and probability knowledge help. PMI’s current page specifies risk experience within five years: 36 months and 40 education hours for a secondary qualification; 24 months and 30 hours for a degree; 12 months and 30 hours for a GAC-program degree. Confirm eligibility with PMI. dr.pt does not claim this path satisfies qualifying hours.
